How a technique session works
- Getting to know you and setting your goal. What do you want to achieve? More confidence on steep runs, a more elegant style, more speed?
- Warm-up runs and analysis. Your instructor skis behind you and spots where your position, weighting or edging isn't quite right.
- Targeted exercises. A few effective drills instead of theory – each one builds on the last.
- Putting it into practice. You apply what you've learned straight away on different runs.
- Take it with you. You get 2–3 exercises to keep working on by yourself after the lesson.
Typical goals of our guests
- "I just skid round the turns." → From skidding to clean carved turns.
- "I get scared on steep runs." → Control through short turns, rhythm and choosing the right line.
- "My thighs are burning after two runs." → A centred stance and energy-saving skiing.
- "I've skied the same way for years and want more." → Dynamics, angulation, speed – technique up to instructor-training and racing level.
- "I'd like to get back into skiing after a long break." → Modern technique, new equipment, regaining your confidence.
How much time should I plan?
For noticeable progress we recommend 2 to 3 hours in one go, or several sessions spread over your holiday week. Early risers can take advantage of the Good Morning Special (09:00–10:00, €70) on freshly groomed, still empty slopes – ideal for technique training.
